POWER Premium Opening Window Kit® (Pressure-treated)

The Power Premium Opening Window Kit® enhances your Powershed® and is designed to provide fresh air and improved ventilation for your building. It’s made from the same high-quality pressure-treated timber as the Power Premium range, and is pre-fitted with British Standard Certified Toughened Safety Glass. This glass window kit is easy to install in minutes, and it’s perfectly suited for the Power Premium Apex and Pent sheds.

The Power Premium opening window kit can be provided as an extra with your order so that you can install it yourself in your desired location during assembly. Alternatively, you can order one separately and retro-fit it after your shed has been built.

Please note that each Power Premium opening window kit replaces just one existing pane in a window panel.

FAQs

• Is this  opening window kit treated?
  • Yes – the opening window kit is treated with either dip treatment or pressure treated depending on which one you purchase. Once installed the window should then be treated as per the Powersheds® aftercare policy.

• Does it have proper glass?
  • Yes! the window unit is pre-fitted with toughened safety glass (not styrene or Perspex). The glass is certified and stamped with a British Standard mark, and is safe for use around children.

• Is the window kit easy to install?
  • Yes! these opening windows can be installed in minutes by simply removing the window beading on the inside of your window panel allowing you to remove the glazing (please wear gloves!). After removing the PVC sill, the opening window is simply screwed into the exposed aperture. Please see the video above to see how easy this is!

• What Powershed® models can I fit an opening window to?
  • Opening windows are available for the Power® Shiplap & Premium Apex & Pent model sheds, as well as the Power® Potting Sheds.

• I already have a Powershed®, can I add an opening window?
  • Yes, if you have already have a Powershed® and would like to retrospectively add an opening window this is perfectly fine! If you follow the same process as outlined in this video , you will be able to add one to your building.

• I have a standard Shiplap Powershed® with dip-treatment, is this suitable?
  • These Premium windows are best suited for the Powersheds® Premium Apex & Pent sheds. Please see the Power Opening Window Kit (dip-treated) for the correct window.

IMPORTANT : This opening window kit is not suitable for Power® Premium Security Sheds or Power® Premium Summerhouses. Please see the Power Opening Window Kit (dip-treated) if you have a standard Power® Shiplap Shed.
