DEMIDEKK CLEANTECH Paint™ (Ultimate 12-Year Wood Paint)

Jotun Demidekk Cleantech Paint™ 12-Year Opaque Shed & Summerhouse Wood Coating is a high-performance, long-lasting, flexible paint for sheds, summerhouses, timber cladding, and all exterior timber. Cleantech’s new-and-improved formula replaces Demidekk Ultimate™, delivering the most durable finish without compromising looks or the environment.

RAL colours

Tough, durable and beautiful, this superb paint is a natural choice for anyone who wants lasting performance without compromise. Demidekk Cleantech™ can be mixed to almost any colour in the BS and RAL range, as well as the standard Jotun Demidekk colours.

Demidekk Cleantech™ has all the qualities you know and loved about Demidekk Ultimate™ but with improved gloss and colour retention, especially in the darker shades such as blacks, charcoals and blues.

Cleantech™ is a high-performing exterior wood paint in an opaque, semi-gloss finish. It’s water-based which means it’s low in VOCs and odour, and it’s fast-drying too, ready to recoat in just 2 hours, it makes it easy to finish your project quickly.

It’s special formulation has extremely low dirt pick-up, reducing the risk of dirt and grime attaching to the surface as well as containing an effective film conserving agent that counteracts mould growth. This technology, in combination with weather resistant pigments protects the wood against sunlight and UV rays providing excellent weather resistance.

Demidekk Cleantech™ self-cleaning coating can be applied over Jotun Visir Primer or as a topcoat over existing painted or primed surfaces, including fascia’s made of plastic and metal commonly used on buildings.

Jotun Demidekk Cleantech™ Paint is suitable for use on all exterior wood, cladding and previously primed plastic gutters and metal surfaces.

Apply 2-3 coats using a brush, roller or airless spray ensuring all edges and ends are well coated.

Available in 750ml, 3 litre and 10 litre tins. Click here to see BS and RAL colours.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 9-12m² (smooth wood) or 6-8m² (sawn wood) per coat.
Application: Brush, Roller or Airless Sprayer.
Drying Time: Can be re-coated after 2hrs. Times based upon +23 °C, but dependent on temperature and humidity this can be less.
Life Expectancy: Designed to last approximately 10-12 years, when applied in accordance with manufacturers guidance.

Jotun Demidekk Cleantech Paint™ is usually boxed and delivered to your door within 2-3 working days. There is a £9.99 delivery charge to most of the UK mainland, however remote and offshore areas will be subject to a surcharge. Please call before ordering.

Jotun® Paint Delivery

Jotun® Paint UK Delivery Charges

All our UK orders are shipped by a tracked express courier service – DPD.

Additional charges and timescales apply for deliveries to the Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, and mainland areas that our couriers consider to be remote (some AB, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes).

Orders are scheduled for a 2-3 Working Day Service (Monday to Friday). Please note, no deliveries are scheduled for weekends or National Bank Holidays, so please allow additional time in these circumstances. We use a trusted, fully tracked service to ensure your order arrives swiftly and in perfect condition. You will receive an email and text message to track your order.

Orders placed on a weekday or over a weekend will be shipped on the next working day. For example:

An order placed on a Thursday will be dispatched on Friday with an expected delivery attempt on Monday (excluding National Bank Holidays).
An order placed on a Friday or over the weekend will dispatch on Monday with an expected delivery attempt on Tuesday (excluding National Bank Holidays).

Our couriers aim to deliver over 98% of parcels within 2 working days (weekday delivery only and excluding National Bank Holidays), however, this is not guaranteed, and we cannot accept liability for any work started or costs incurred because of delays/errors. We advise customers to order in plenty of time to allow for unforeseen delays as well as not to book any contractors until orders have been received and checked.

No collections or deliveries will be scheduled for National Bank Holidays, so deliveries will be delayed. Please allow additional days in these circumstances.

Packaging

All of the Jotun® packaging is designed to ensure the safe and secure delivery of all your online paint orders. Of course it’s not invincible and spillages can happen in transit but we’ve gone to great lengths to minimise this.

All of our tins are taped before being bagged in a recyclable plastic bag
The bagged tin is then placed into a custom fit, recyclable cardboard insert top and bottom
The tin in its bag and inserts, is then placed within a heavy duty, recyclable cardboard box
The outer box is then taped up ready for labelling and shipping

Shipping Restrictions

Delivery is £9.99 to most of the mainland UK, however, our couriers may apply an additional charge for deliveries to areas that they consider to be remote. In these instances, the additional charge will be indicated at checkout once the delivery postcode has been entered. Deliveries to these areas will also usually take a few additional days.

Additional charges and timescales apply for deliveries to the Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, and mainland areas that our couriers consider to be remote (some AB, HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, ZE postcodes).

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. We are also currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
