Demidekk Cleantech™ 12-Year Opaque Shed & Summerhouse Wood Coating is a high-performance, long-lasting, flexible paint for sheds, summerhouses, timber cladding, and all exterior timber. Cleantech™ is the new-and-improved formula (replacing Demidekk Ultimate™), delivering the definitive durable finish without compromising looks or the environment.

RAL colours

Tough, durable and beautiful, Demidekk Cleantech™ is a natural choice for anyone who wants lasting performance without compromise. Demidekk Cleantech™ can be mixed to almost any colour in the BS and RAL range, as well as the standard Jotun Demidekk colours. Demidekk Cleantech™ has all the qualities you know and love about Ultimate™ but with improved gloss and colour retention, especially in the darker colours like blacks, charcoals and blues.

Demidekk Cleantech™ is a high-performing exterior wood paint in an opaque, glossy finish. It’s water-based which means it’s low in VOCs and odour, and is fast-drying too. Ready for recoat in just 2 hours, it makes it easy to finish your project quickly.

It’s special formulation has extremely low dirt pick-up, which reduces the risk of dirt and grime attaching to the surface as well as containing an effective film conserving agent that counteracts mould growth. The binder technology in combination with weather resistant pigments protects the wood against sunlight and UV rays providing excellent weather resistance.

Demidekk Cleantech™ self-cleaning coating can be applied over Jotun Visir Primer or as a topcoat over existing painted or primed surfaces including fascia’s made of plastic and metal commonly used on buildings.

Specifications

Jotun Demidekk Cleantech™ is suitable for use on all exterior joinery including: new woodwork, pressure-impregnated (Tanalised) timber, and previously painted woodwork. Available in 3L and 10L tins. Click here to see most BS and RAL colours.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover 10-12m² (smooth wood) or 6-8m² (sawn wood) per coat.

Application: Brush, Roller or Airless Sprayer.

Drying Time: Can be re-coated after 2hrs. Times based upon +23 °C, but dependent on temperature and humidity this can be less.

Life Expectancy: Up to 12 years, when applied in accordance with manufacturers guidance.
