Lifetime® Prestige 8×5 Apex Plastic Shed (6406)

Lifetime 8×5 Heavy Duty Plastic Shed (6406) is a high quality, medium-sized, apex garden shed constructed from dual-wall high density polyethylene (HDPE). It comes complete with a heavy-duty steel roof trusses for additional strength. steel-reinforced double wall resin using an exclusive blow-moulding technology. It includes ‘shingle style’ roof panels, padlockable latching double doors for security (padlock not supplied) and slip-resistant floor panels. It is straightforward to assemble, low maintenance, and won’t rust or splinter.

Lifetime plastic sheds come pre-finished with light-sand coloured walls with complimentary brown doors and roofs. The Lifetime 8×5 (6406) is approximately 8ft wide x 5ft deep, and is supplied with 2x small skylights and 2x screened vents in the gables as standard.

Quality Construction

Lifetime Plastic Sheds are manufactured with low maintenance in mind. They have a sturdy steel-reinforced construction for strength, they won’t rot, splinter or rust. They come with a manufacturers limited 10-YEAR WARRANTY as standard. Lifetime’s outdoor storage sheds have several innovative features, including skylights to maximise natural lighting. They also include single-hinged double doors that open nearly 180 degrees and lock closed, and feature a slip-resistant polyethylene floor.

Straightforward Assembly

These buildings are supplied in a flat-pack modular design, with smaller panels allowing for easy transportation through your house or garage! The precision cut components ensure that assembly is straight-forward for the competent DIY’er, and no professional experience is necessary. Doors & Locking System

Double doors 1422mm wide x 1930mm high (approx. 56″w x 76″h) are fitted as standard to this building. They are made from steel-reinforced polyethylene, fitted with full-length galvanised steel hinge pins, high impact door handles with metal latch. For added security, the doors are fitted with 2x deadbolts on the interior of the left door, and an exterior padlock loop ready to accept your padlock (not supplied). 

Windows & Ventilation

The Lifetime 8×5 Shed (model 6418) is fitted with 2x translucent roof skylights fitted high up in the apex for natural light, and 2x screened vents (one on each gable) for ventilation.

The Environment

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most environmentally preferred plastics because it is 100% recyclable, does not create harmful emissions during production and does not leak toxic chemicals into soil or water. Lifetime HDPE production includes premiere UV-Inhibitors and light fast pigments to make these sheds very resistant to heat and extended exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun. This UV protection is the best on the market and ensures that Lifetime products will not crack, chip, or peel.

Optional Accessories

This garden building is supplied as a full kit, complete with all necessary fixings, fastenings and roofing materials. There are a few optional accessories available for the Lifetime range, including: Corners Shelves, Wide Single Shelves, Narrow Triple Shelf Set, and Tool Hanging Peg Strips.

All products are delivered sectional/flat-packed to kerbside unless stated otherwise. Deliveries are available for most of mainland England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland, however deliveries within the Grey Zone will be subject to a surcharge depending upon the area and the product weight.
