POWER Opening Window Kit® (Dip-Treated)

The Power Opening Window Kit® enhances your Powershed® and is designed to provide fresh air and improved ventilation for your building. It’s made from the same high-quality timber as your shed, and is pre-fitted with Toughened Safety Glass (British Standard Certified). This glass window kit is easy to install in minutes and is perfectly suited for our dip-treated garden sheds and potting sheds.

The Power opening window kit can be provided as an extra with your order so you can install it yourself in your desired location during assembly. Alternatively, you can order one separately and retro-fit if required it after your shed has been built.

Please note that each Dip-Treated Opening Window Kit measures 465mm wide, and replaces one existing glass pane in a window panel.

FAQ’s

• Is the Power opening window kit treated?
  • Yes – the opening window will be treated with either dip treatment or pressure treatment depending on which you purchase. Once installed the window would then need to be treated as per the Powersheds® aftercare policy.

• Is the Power opening window fitted with proper glass?
  • Yes! the window unit is pre-fitted with toughened safety glass (not styrene or Perspex). The glass is certified and stamped with a British Standard mark, and is safe for use around children.

• Is the opening window easy to install?
  • Yes! these opening windows can usually be installed in minutes by simply removing the window beading on the inside of your window panel which will allow you to remove the glazing (please ensure you are wearing gloves!). After removing the PVC sill the opening window is simply slotted and screwed into the exposed aperture.

• What Powershed® ranges can I use an opening window with?
  • Opening windows are available for the Shiplap & Premium Apex & Pent models, as well as our Shiplap & Premium Potting Sheds.

• I already have a Powershed, can I add an opening window?
  • If you have already purchased one of our Powersheds® and would like to retrospectively add an opening window this is perfectly fine! If you follow the same process as outlined in this video , you will be able to add one to your building.

• I have a Premier Tanalised Powershed®, is this suitable?
  • No, these dip-treated opening windows are only suitable for the Power Shiplap Apex & Pent sheds, and Power Shiplap Potting Sheds. Please see the Power Premium Opening Window Kit instead.

IMPORTANT : This opening window kit is not suitable for Security Sheds or Summerhouses, or Power® Premier Pressure-treated buildings (please see the Premier Opening Window Kit).
