POWER® CHALET Workshop Log Cabin – 28mm
Power® Chalet Workshop Log Cabin – 28mm is a top quality, modern, solid workshop with an apex roof with extended overhang. This UK manufactured shed is made using high grade 28mm thick Scandinavian timber. and 19mm tongue and groove floor and roof. These Power Cabins come with a solid, joinery-made wooden door with 3-lever locking system, a toughened double-glazed glass window, and a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty!
These Power® budlings come with EPDM rubber roofing with a 50-year lifespan! and are made to stay below the 2.5m height legislation.

Quality Construction
The walls of these models are 28mm thick made from high grade, responsibly sourced, Scandinavian Timber. No inferior timber profiles are used whatsoever (such as lower quality 19mm thick walls, or cabins built with OSB or chipboard floors and roofs). The floor and roofs are comprised of 19mm tongue & groove boards to ensure the building is robust and durable. Tanalised timber bearers are provided to lift the structure off the ground to further protect the floor.

The roof of this chalet is designed to protect the building from all kinds of weather. It has an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system which comes with a 50-year life expectancy. This includes a gutter edge drip plate to allow rainwater to run off and away from the sides of the log cabin… ideal for the various UK weather conditions and climate.
All cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, allowing you to bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity aren’t compromised by the reduced height.

Preservative
Power Log Cabins have pressure-treated ground contact bearers below the floor, however the main cabin is supplied untreated. Currently we are supplying a FREE 5L container of Protek Wood Preserver ++ to get you started with preserving the log cabin.
Doors, Locking System & Windows
This Power Log Cabin comes complete with Solid Timber Double Doors and an Opening Window. All glass is both toughened and double glazed – perfect for extra security and insulation.
The joinery-made double doors on this cabin are great… they are fitted internally with a 3-lever mortice lock supplied as standard onto a 1025mm wide double door. Windows are made from strong, secure toughened safety glass, and are secured with a lockable window stay. Whether you plan to use the log cabin for storage, or for a garden office, this extra secure space will provide that additional peace of mind.
Innovative Self-Assembly
The 28mm thick, high grade interlocking logs are enhanced by the innovative notching system which allows you to build your cabin with confidence, knowing everything fits tightly and is where it should be. Fixings and instructions are included to allow you to build the cabin yourself, as well as providing additional telephone/email support and instructional installation video below.
Video above shows construction of 44mm Apex model with uPVC doors and windows, however the method is the same for 28mm models.
