Power Chalet Classic Log Cabin 44mm® is a top quality, modern, solid cabin with an apex roof with extended overhang. This UK manufactured summerhouse is made using high grade 44mm thick Scandinavian timber, tongue and groove floor and roof. The Power Classic Log Cabins come with joinery made timber doors with mortice security locks and opening double-glazed windows.

The Power Chalet Classic Log Cabin® comes with long-life EPDM rubber roofing, which has an expected 50-year lifespan! and are made to stay below the 2.5m height legislation. Quality Construction

The walls of the Power Chalet Classic Log Cabin® are 44mm thick made from high grade, responsibly sourced, Scandinavian Timber. No inferior log cabin timber profiles are used whatsoever (such as lower quality 19mm thick log cabins, or cabins built with OSB or chipboard floors and roofs). The floor and roofs are comprised of tongue & groove boards to ensure the log cabin is robust and durable. Tanalised timber bearers are provided to lift the log cabin off the ground to further protect the floor.

The roof of this Power Chalet Classic Log Cabin® is designed to protect the building from all kinds of weather. It has an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system which comes with a 50-year life expectancy. This includes a gutter edge drip plate to allow rainwater to run off and away from the sides of the log cabin… ideal for the various UK weather conditions and climate.

All cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, allowing you to bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity aren’t compromised by the reduced height.

Attractive features such as the external sills are on all windows and doors add to the functionality of your building, as well as the aesthetic. Further attention to detail is reflected in the Burford style skirting which provides the perfect finish to the inside of the log cabin.

Preservative

Power Chalet Classic Log Cabins® have pressure-treated ground contact bearers below the floor, however the main cabin is supplied untreated. You will receive a FREE 5L container of quality Wood Preserver ++ to get you started with preserving the log cabin. This is a clear preservative which can be applied very quickly, allowing you to take your time in applying a decorative top coat in any colour you prefer.

Doors, Locking System & Windows

A Power Classic Chalet Log Cabin® comes complete with joinery-made timber Double Doors and Opening Windows. All glass is both toughened and double glazed – perfect for extra security and insulation.

In addition to toughened double glazing, the door is fitted with a security mortice lock, Whether you plan to use the log cabin for storage, or for a garden office, this extra secure space will provide that additional peace of mind.

Innovative Self-Assembly

The 44mm, high grade interlocking logs are enhanced by the innovative notching system which allows you to build your cabin with confidence, knowing everything fits tightly and is where it should be. Fixings and instructions are included to allow you to build the cabin yourself, as well as providing additional telephone/email support and instructional installation video below.

Powersheds® Log Cabin Delivery

Powersheds® log cabins, gazebos, pergolas and decking are delivered by a 26-tonne HIAB vehicle, and are delivered free to most UK mainland areas. Please note that Powersheds® sheds, summerhouses, bike stores etc. are palletised, and are shipped by a different method, and are therefore not included below.

The Powersheds® Log Cabin delivery service covers most of mainland Scotland, England and Wales, and is FREE of charge. There is no delivery service available to any offshore area, including Northern Ireland, Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight etc. (and some extremely remote rural areas).

Please contact us prior to purchase if you have any queries regarding the dimensions, or if you require exact sizes. Roof overhangs will extend beyond the Body Size shown below. Timber is responsibly sourced from suppliers and forests carefully selected using a thorough and comprehensive appraisal process. Only timber suppliers are used who are themselves FSC certified and chain of custody certification traces the wood from forest to distribution to us, are checked regularly.

*12ft or 14ft wide log cabins with a centred door come with only 1x window (on a side wall). 12ft or 14ft wide log cabins with an offset door come with 2x windows (one next to the door, and one on a side wall). 16ft, 18ft and 20ft wide log cabins come with 3x windows ( two next to the door, and one one a side wall). Additional windows are available to purchase with your cabin if required.

NOTE: The door is always positioned on the front gable (i.e. the width). Please ensure you order the correct layout.

Premium Power® Log Cabins are delivered kerbside on a 26t HIAB vehicle, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. We will contact you in advance of delivery to confirm a date and book you in!
